Lost Communications + Teddy Hunter at Pan Pan (Birmingham)

An-Ting is releasing her new album, Lost Communications 失絡之聲, paying homage to the beauty of nature and human artistic expression. An-Ting took field recordings of birdsong and mixed them with dark experimental electronic music with droning soundscapes and hard beats. In their live audio-visual performance, Ian Gallagher uses cutting-edge AI technology to document the duo’s ideas and mind-bending experiences with live audio-reactive visuals, reacting in real-time to An-Ting’s music.

JOIN US FOR FDUK 2024’S LIVE IMMERSIVE SHOWCASE PRESENTED BY CARDIFF MUSIC CITY FESTIVAL

Prepare for a night like no other as we bring you an incredible line-up featuring the multi-talented Beardyman and the captivating Teddy Hunter, alongside DJs and VJs sets featuring João Saramago and Andrew Wagstaff.

Darren Alexander Foreman, better known as Beardyman, is a British beatboxer, looper, and musician who will be presenting an Experimental AV Surround Experience.

Teddy Hunter is a Cardiff based audio visual artist and electronic musician working in alternative music and immersive audio. She will be performing alongside her band with 360º visuals by Chameleonic.

João Saramago and Andrew Wagstaff will present Heartbeats, combining live drawings in the dome with a vinyl set of electronic music.

The event is proudly supported by Cardiff Music City Festival, celebrating the vibrant music scene in Cardiff. Don’t miss out on this unique celebration of art, technology and music presented under our immersive dome.

Oceans are a five piece shoegaze band from Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. With inspiration from ambient, new wave and 90’s Dream Pop, the heart of Oceans’ sound is a dedication to experimentation and timbre.

Taking in place in SHIFT (Carnedd), Teddy Hunter and Nic Finch (Chameleonic) will projecting ambient visual synthesis on the walls and on the band.
